Business Issue

The client has a very mature project management method, career development framework and competence based assessments. However, the PM training was lengthy and did not provide certification at every level. The client went to tender with a brief to accelerate the development of project managers and selected Novare Consulting to breathe new life into the training programme

Solution

Our solution was to work in partnership with the client to develop a structured training programme to fast-track those working in projects from entry level to Senior PM

We designed training at each level of the career development framework to include Case Study simulations and certifications (APM at the start of the contract)

All the content was reviewed by the client PM community and we inducted a team of trainers to deliver the courses at each level. We believe that it is essential to match the trainer with the client culture and the level of those being trained

We also inducted our training administration team to work closely with the client administration teams and that collaboration has been a key part of our successful delivery

At the heart of the collaboration has been our close professional relationship with the Project Management sponsor and the Learning and Development sponsor. This partnership has seen several refreshes of the training to now include IPMA certifications instead of APM.

We have regular feedback reviews and are proud to say that satisfaction levels remain very high as do pass-rates for the certifications
